What a school website has to do
Parents come for three things: admissions, notices and fees. Then they look for the staff, the campus photos and a phone number. A school site built on free Elementor can show all of that as static pages, but it cannot take an admission enquiry, and every notice means calling the designer. Pro adds the form, and with the Posts widget the office can publish a notice from the WordPress dashboard and it appears on the home page by itself.
Pro features that fit a school
- Forms with file upload. Parents attach a B-form or previous result card; the office receives an email. Collect only what you need for the enquiry and keep the rest for the visit.
- Posts widget and Loop Grid. Notices, results announcements and events as normal WordPress posts, shown automatically.
- Theme Builder. A header with the school's phone, admissions button and a top bar for urgent notices.
- Role Manager. An office account that can add notices but not break the design.
- Downloads. Fee challans, syllabus and date sheets as PDFs in the media library, linked from the page.
Keeping it alive after launch
Most school websites die six months after launch because nobody updates them. Two things help: give the office a limited login so posting a notice is a two-minute job, and decide who renews Elementor Pro each year (we remind you 15 days before). If the school would rather not manage WordPress at all, Pro + Care at ₨2,999 a year includes monthly backups, plugin and theme updates and small fixes on request.
A build plan
- Pages: Home, About, Admissions, Fee structure, Notices, Staff, Gallery, Contact.
- Collect the content first: fee table, staff list with photos, ten campus photos, admission requirements.
- Order Pro from AI Web Tools; activation takes about an hour during 10am–10pm PKT.
- Build the header and footer in Theme Builder, the admissions form, the notices grid and the staff grid.
- Create an office login with the Role Manager limited to content, and show them how to post a notice.
