An Elementor site needs ordinary WordPress hosting with a current PHP version, enough PHP memory (256 MB is a sensible floor for Elementor Pro and WooCommerce), SSD or NVMe storage, HTTPS, daily backups and a server reasonably close to your visitors. Elementor publishes its exact minimum requirements in its help center; check them against the host's plan before buying.
Questions to ask a host
- Which PHP versions can I choose, and can I switch myself?
- What is the PHP memory limit on this plan, and can it be raised?
- Where is the server, and how fast is it from Pakistan (or wherever your visitors are)?
- Are daily backups included, and how do I restore one?
- Is outbound access allowed, so plugins can reach their update servers?
- What happens when my site gets a traffic spike?
Server location
For a mostly Pakistani audience, servers in nearby regions such as the Gulf, Singapore or Europe usually give reasonable speed. A content delivery network helps visitors farther away. Test the host's demo or a trial site with PageSpeed Insights from a phone on mobile data.
Red flags
- Very old PHP versions as the default.
- "Unlimited" everything at a very low price, with tight hidden limits on processes.
- No backups, or backups only on request for a fee.
- Blocked outbound connections, which also stop license checks and updates. See license not connecting.
