A template kit is a full set of pages, templates and site settings you import in one go from Elementor's Kit Library or from a kit file. Free kits work with the free plugin; Pro kits need an active Elementor Pro connection to import their Pro parts. After importing, replace demo text and images, delete pages you will not use and check the site settings the kit changed.
Import from the Kit Library
- Take a backup first; kits change site settings. See backups.
- In WordPress, open Templates › Kit Library, preview a kit, and choose Apply Kit.
- Pick which parts to import: templates, content, site settings, plugins. On an existing site, skip what you do not want overwritten.
- Wait for the import to finish, then open the home page.
Kits that need Pro
Kits that include headers, footers, popups or Pro widgets need Pro to be active before you import, otherwise those parts are skipped or show as missing. If you order an activation from AI Web Tools, import the kit after we confirm Pro is active.
Clean-up checklist
- Replace every demo image; many are licensed for preview only.
- Rewrite all text in your own words.
- Delete unused pages, templates and menu items.
- Check Site Settings: the kit's colours and fonts now apply site-wide.
- Set the kit's home page as your front page under Settings › Reading.
